In today’s lesson, we will learn about the helpful animal spy robots and head out into nature to become a spy bot ourselves!

Be a Spy Robot

  • Materials
    • Camera or Device with camera
    • Notebook
  • Instructions
    • Go in your backyard or on a nature walk.
    • BE a nature bot and observe animal behavior. 
      • Take photos of animals or plants that you see!
      • Record your observations in a notebook!
    • Some things you might want to think about…
      • Animals are easily startled…
        • Be careful.
        • Move slow.
        • Be quiet and patient.
        • WATCH OUT FOR DANGER! (Specifically, stingers or things that may bite.)

Today’s recommendation is to share your project with someone your age. See what kind of animal they find and exchange pictures! (Check with your parents first!)
